9. Important people use something Unix'ish, or at least want a GNU'ish set of shell commands. That's why I use a C=64 running Lunix! My hardware: 1.2mhz CPU 6502, 2mhz in turbo without VIC chip, 32 kbyte RAM, 32kbyte ROM, 24kbyte addressable RAM, SiD soundchip, FDD, fully 8 bit & more! Lunix unleashes every bit of power this machine has, including multitasking, TCP/IP networking and so on! Don't believe it? See the screenshot and indeed, it ain't a joke.. project was called "lunix", it's running on sourceforge still somewhere.

14. Guess what? not a tune this time, but a freaky OpenSSH(d) patch to add a -n flag, when flagged the sshd won't accept 'forced commands' anymore. This way users can't get around their default shell.

25. As new security issues emerge, openssh gets patched again. Does the same as the above patch, only this one is for 3.0.2p1. Also contains a fix to permit SCP's. Download Here.
26. Hmm, just set up some well known stats thing, mrtg+snmpd at the it-ss border. This one stats the traffic coming and going from and to the uplink, not the internal junk. Check it here (PS: this now shows the core traffic, things have changed the last few years ;)
27. And now a more usefull statty proggy ;o) Aguri it's called, up to v 0.5 now allready *humz*. Handy for tracking down traffic eating hosts, here it's set to source graphing, so it shows the top 8 hungry source-ip's. Look at a 60-second-updated plot here. Sorry, link is dead, it will stay dead.
